Happy 50th Birthday, Sonya! We had fun making this cake. This was a surprise cake for Mindi's mom and what made it fun is that Fallyn was having Mindi's bridal shower at mom and dads while we were putting the finishing touches on it. Sonya walked by and thought it was so cute. She had no clue! We left her name off until the last minute. The bottom tier is white cake with white buttercream icing. 2009 Salt Festival Baking Contest - And The Winner Is...

1st Place! There were 20 entries and we received 1st for the Morton Salt Can and 4th for the Better Than $?? Cake. We lost 3rd by one stinking point...:( So here are the cakes so you can see how they turned out.
